| We are an independent, confidential support service for victims / survivors of domestic violence We are based in Merseyside Our services are run by survivors We offer emotional and practical support to all individuals regardless of gender, sexuality, religion, race, nationality, disability or ability All information is treated with the strictest confidence The support we offer is based in a safe and friendly environment Support is provided by trained volunteers OPENING HOURS - 10.00AM - 5PM (MONDAY - FRIDAY) We also provide support for men who are experiencing domestic violence Tel: 0151 920 2211 Internet Tel: 05600 750 913 Email: voice4change@msn.com | We provide a wide variety of support services for those who have or are suffering domestic violence: EMOTIONAL SUPPORT Counselling Listening ear Chance to be with others who understand PRACTICAL SUPPORT Advocacy Dealing with agencies such as: police, solicitors, social services, etc. Attending court with clients Assistance in finding refuge space Child contact Welfare benefits advice PERSONAL DEVELOPMENT Confidence building & Assertiveness classes English classes Any other courses identified by individuals Clients are often referred via other agencies but can also self-refer, and then following an initial appointment, can access other relevant services and make use of the Drop-In facility | ||||
